I have dream catchers and jewelry with evil eye and crystals here i got taught that evil eyes protect you from evil spirits and demons and that dream catchers protect ur dreams for demons and evil spirits, and crystals do nothing. As a Christian for you the Holy Spirit convicted you of your past and wanted those items removed so they would not draw you back. Paul refers to idols as wood and stone when talking about eating meat sacraficed to them. The idols were just wood and stone and were not embued with a demon or anything more than what the person brought with and within them. Whlie what you are saying about most of these items is not wrong we need to be careful not to put our own convictions on someone else. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is FREEDOM.

The Apostle Paul told Christians that pagan idols were just wood and stone. If you are not bowing down to them and in some way you think they are embewed with powers and try to use them as such then objects such as a budda is just wood and stone and art from another culture. The question is really why do you have them and is it an issue for you, to cause you to stumble or lead you into a false religion. If it represents to you a belief system and a other power source apart from Christ then yes it is an idol and you should remove it.

When i think of crystals and all that, i think of 1 Corinthians 8 (go read it). We know there is no real power behind them, its just part of Gods beautiful creation. But for the sake of people who DO believe they have power and all that, we should not have them even in our house, so that our fellow believer does not stumble. Remember, when Paul was out with the Gentiles, he lived like them (obviously following Jesus new law). He changed how he lived to fit how they did, so that they didnt think he was sinning, and create tension. Thats all i got to say. Obviously theres alot more to this topic than just that, but i feel like it was worth bringing up.

Crystals are a creation from God. You can use them for evil, but you can also admire the beauty of them. Just like the gay flag, I’m not going to stop wearing rainbows just because of what the world has done to them.
